First Couple of Weeks!

Hi!

A couple of weeks ago I started a new internship at a pharmaceutical company in my native country, Venezuela. NGL before it started I was feeling very excited but nervous at the same time. This is the first time I work for a serious company, first time in the corporate world. I know the experience that this internship is going to give me is huuuge, but I was also scared af to do things wrong and make mistakes (which we all know is not something uncommon to happen at first).

Today, after weeks, I still feel a bit lost. My supervisor is not always at the office so I'm usually just trying to figure things out by myself. It has become a bit frustrating, somedays I feel like I’m not learning anything and that’s what I came here for. I’m trying to do things that will help me grow as a professional, like job simulations, courses, certifications, etc which is interesting, but again, I wanted hands-on work experience. We’ll see how the next couple of weeks go!

This is just a quick reminder that we don't know everything, and that making mistakes is part of the growing and learning process. Also, being proactive in situations like this one is very important, don’t just sit there and wait for something to come to you, go get it! ;)
